The Kommandant boots are the ideal companion for firefighters who have transformed their passion into a profession. Designed especially for professional use the Kommandant boots leave nothing to be desired. The combination of an extremely easy entry and a stability at the ankle, which comes very close to that of a classic laced boot is remarkable: thanks to this fast entry, the Kommandant Pro was considered to best boot for the french airport firefighters in Lyon and asserted itsself over well know competitors.
Technical description
- black full grain waterproof leather, thickness 2.4â2.6 mm, bootleg construction without side seams, heat resistant thread (Nomex), reflective side panels and backstrap
- steel toe cap impact resistant to 200 joules, abrasion resistant scuff cap, with twin recessed seams, stainless steel midsole
- anatomical, removable cork insoles, reinforced heel stiffener
- rubber/PU self-cleaning sole (injection moulded) with lateral profile, abrasion, fuel, oil and acid resistant, non-marking sole
- Sympatex® HIGH2OUT Climate System, completely biodegradable membrane (certificate ÃKOTEST (D) 07/2006), waterproof, breathable, resistant to chemicals in accordance with EN 368
- forepart and upper leg padding, with additional ankle padding
- perforations at the top of the upper for enhanced breathability, and front and back flex zones for improved fit and comfort
- preformed pull on grips, usable even when wearing gloves
- easy and comfortable entry and exit, excellent stability while walking
