Aquasafe Boots for watermissions
Fire is often feared, but many people underestimate the incredible destructive power of water. Unfortunately, the newspapers are reminding us more and more frequently. Therefore we designed the VÃLKL AquaSafe especifically for water missions. Our AquaSafe is rust free, has all the safety features of a classic safety shoe and is worn ideally with a neoprene sock. It can be washed in a washing machine and dries very quickly. The closure of the AquaSafe can be pulled off with just one hand, so that if the shoe is wedged by an object that swims towards you, you can easily put it off. The model is certified according to DIN EN ISO 20345:2007 S1P SRC.
Technical description
- specially designed for use in water rescue applications, can be worn over a drysuit sock or with waders
- PU/Leather upper, thickness 1.8â2.0 mm, combined with abrasion resistant cordura fabric
- padded textile lining
- top band padding, anatomical padded tongue
- quick release system with rust resistant, adjustable ratchet straps
- anatomical removable insole, preformed and reinforced heel stiffener
- aluminium toe cap impact resistant to 200 joules, abrasion resistant scuff cap, and Kevlar® protective midsole
- rubber/PU self-cleaning sole (injection moulded), antistatic, abrasion, fuel, oil and acid resistant, non-marking sole
